Alia's Ride 2019 - May 25th 2018

Please join us this year to benefit Alia Grace as she continues to fight Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD). Pre-Registration is $25 plus $15 for passengers. How else can we say it.. We need you! Ride in the morning and join us for the afternoon. Good, friendly people gathered to help Alia plus vendors, live music, raffle and food provided by Texas Road House.

MLD Awareness

Last year Alia was a happy, active, 3 year old whose world was torn apart when, in March 2016, Alia was diagnosed with MLD. Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) is a terminal illness for which there is no cure. MLD causes progressive destruction of the white matter throughout the nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord. It is an inherited rare progressive disease reported to occur 1 in 40,000 to 160,000 individuals worldwide, Alia is the first reported case to the MLD foundation from New Hampshire.

Over the past year, Alia has lost her ability to walk, talk, Alia can't swallow without danger of aspirating and is fed by G-tube. Alia falls frequent victim to muscle spasms and nerve pain, with disease progressions she will suffer increased seizures, blindness, hearing loss, and ultimately become unresponsive.

Please join us at Best Cycle Center, 579 Amherst St, Nashua, NH in helping to raise funds to offset loss of income to Alia's family and cost of Alia's care. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to the MLD Foundation.

There will be food catered by Texas Roadhouse, raffles, vendors and fun! Event is Rain or Shine.
